Reflexology
Therapist: Allison McCall MICHT, IIHHT
Reflexology is a natural way to stimulate healing in the body; it aims to relieve stress or treat health problems through the application of pressure to specific areas of the feet.
Your feet are mapped to every gland and organ in your body. When a reflexologist is working on your feet, they use their knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and mark on their foot map any areas of congestion that are found during the treatment. At the end of the treatment your reflexologist will be able to tell you those areas that needed extra attention; this may reflect stress and tension.
By using finger and thumb techniques to work the reflexes this will help improve blood supply and promote the unblocking of the nerve impulses.
Each session is a unique experience and clients will respond differently.
